Leaders From Within
Hello everyone! My name is Xavier Noe, and I am honored to serve as your Pre-Dental Society President. I am a senior, majoring in Biology with a minor in Pharmacology. As your president, I am responsible for leading meetings, coordinating speakers, and helping you establish the foundation necessary to become a competitive dental school applicant.
I have known that I have wanted to have a career centered on helping others, but it wasn’t until I got to college where I realized that dentistry was the right path for me. The impact dentistry can make in others’ lives are profound, as dentists posses the unique ability to enhance a person’s appearance, restore their confidence, and transform how they see themselves.
Dentistry truly is as much an art as it is a science; I cannot wait to help you achieve your goals within this remarkable profession.
Xavier Noe
President
Wesley Hughes
Vice President
Hey everyone! My name is Wesley Hughes and I will be serving as the Vice President this school year! I am a Junior from Bardstown, Kentucky majoring in Human Health Sciences with a minor in Business.
As Vice President, I will work closely with Xavier to accomplish the goals we have set out for this year. PDS has given me so many connections with other members, service opportunities, and mentorship through past members and dental students.
Giving back to those who have limited access to dental care is something I am very passionate about, especially knowing how many communities across Kentucky face barriers to basic dental health. Dentistry is such an incredible field because of the impact it can have on a patient’s oral health, confidence, and overall well being.
Please feel free to reach out to me for anything! I am so excited for this year with PDS!

Why dentistry? Well, I love the community aspect of working as a dentist. One of the first things I noticed when I started shadowing was how much dentists connect with their patients. I am passionate about bringing consistent dental care to patients in underserved communities! I want to be the provider who is connected to their community and directly impact patients by helping them get their perfect comfortable smile!
